Past, Present and Future of Camp Fawcett

This Web site, initiated in 2011, is funded by the Camp Fawcett Foundation with administrative oversight by the Camp Fawcett Trustees.

The Camp Fawcett Trustees were originally established in 1930 and continue today as an independent entity tied to the camp property and deed.   The responsibilities of the Trustees of Camp Fawcett have been from the beginning to protect the camp property, to insure that income produced from the camp property is spent on camp, to ensure the council maintains and controls the camp as a campsite for the benefit of scouts in the former Southwest Texas Council which include the counties of Val Verde, Terrell, Kinney, Edwards, Uvalde, Real, Bandera, Medina County, Maverick, Dimmit, Zavalla and Frio.
